Alice is a member of the Carson Valley Art Association and the Nevada Artists Association. She has won several award for her pastels and you can view her work at the Brewery Arts Center Gallery in Carson City and at the East Fork Gallery in Gardnerville.

About thirty years ago, Alice began her painting journey. She started oil painting with adult education classes, then attended classes at a neighborhood art gallery for ten years. After that she explored different media – drawing, water color and pastel.
After retiring as an accountant and moving to Gardnerville, Nevada, she began pursuing art seriously. She enjoys painting nature: landscapes, animals, birds and butterflies in pastel and water color. She likes plein-aire painting and has participated in several pastel workshops.
