Artist’s Statement
Painting is my passion. For me, painting allows me to express my creativity and bring joy to those around me. Watching a colorful flower emerge from a blank canvas, or the light play across a landscape is the ultimate creative experience for me. Every day brings new creative opportunities in art, whether it is a new technique or a new subject.

About the Artist
Teddy grew up in California, and attended the University of California at Berkeley where she majored in Art. She has always been interested in art and throughout her life she has managed to find time to hone her skills even during those very hectic years when she was a full time mother of three, wife and corporate officer. Teddy is now retired and able to pursue her dream of being a full time artist and devotes her time to painting.
Working mostly in oils and acrylics, she has continued her study of art in recent years by attending workshops with internationally known artists, Walfrido Garcia, Gary Jenkins, Edgardo Garcia and others in landscapes, seascapes and floral painting.
Recently she was appointed as a staff teacher for the Gary Jenkins and Kathwren Jenkins Certification Program and assisted at their certification program begun in Europe early in 2008.
