Nancy has had a life-long love affair with art. College classes, visits to famous museums and art exhibits only enhanced her desire to become a watercolorist. Nancy has been painting since 1996 and has taken many watercolor workshops and courses, locally and from nationally recognized artists.

The pursuit of art has changed Nancy's view of the world – “seeing rather than looking at," in the words of a college professor (quoting Leonardo Da Vinci), She is constantly exploring new techniques and types of water media.
An award-winning artist, Nancy has been President and Exhibit Chair of the Sierra Watercolor Society and Scholarship Chair for the Latimer Art Club. She is a volunteer “Artist at Bedside” in Pediatrics at Renown Hospital. Other memberships are Nevada Artists Association and the Rock Art Foundation.
Rewarding aspects of art are interacting with kindred spirits through painting groups, new friendships, continuing education and community involvement. It is also uplifting to have a painting or series be appreciated and bring it to art lovers.
